Helvetica World Premiere!

That’s right, font film fans: Helvetica will have its World Premiere at the South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Texas, on March 13th. I’ll be in attendance to answer questions and buy drinks, along with a few designers from the film, TBA. There will be two more screenings of the film at SXSW later that week, and then screenings at museums, colleges, and design conferences. We’ll be posting our preliminary screening schedule later this week, and planning another 100 or so screenings worldwide, so stay tuned.

There will be two more screenings during the conference, we’ll know the exact days in a week, so I’ll post them then. I think they might be on Thursday the 15th and Saturday the 17th, but don’t quote me.
Thanks!

I really hope the film will be shown in Amsterdam as well. Please don’t forget the cities you visited while making the film!

I know that interactive badges will get you into the screening, not sure about music badges since technically the music festival doesn’t start till the 14th. But you can also just buy an individual ticket to the screening once you get to Austin.

i too am curious about the sxsw screenings this week… are any of them open to non-badgeholders? any info on how i can see the film, as a layperson, is greatly appreciated. OH, welcome to austin!

all three screenings are open to the public, you can purchase tickets at the convention center, at the SXSW box office. the screening tuesday is probably already sold out, but you should be able to get tickets to the other two.
thanks!
