DVD now available for pre-order!

The DVD edition of Helvetica is now available for pre-order, in two flavors. The retail edition of the DVD includes over 90 minutes of bonus interview footage from Massimo Vignelli, Erik Spiekermann, Matthew Carter, David Carson, Paula Scher, Stefan Sagmeister, and other designers from the film. There’s also a special limited-edition package, with letterpressed mini-posters, a signed C-print, a letter of actual Helvetica metal type, and other goodies. Release date November 6, but pre-order now and you’ll get the DVD before it’s in shops!

  5. DVD pre-ordered! My spousal unit didn’t have a chance to see “Helvetica” when it was in Seattle, so i’m really looking forward to watching it with him.

I have to agree with other commenters elsewhere on the blog that a “Helvetica” soundtrack would also be nice. The music was just great!

  6. I MUST agree with Chris - I was on iTunes looking for the Helvetica soundtrack. Great music. Could that be one of the “other goodies” in the Deluxe Edition?
