DVD release date changed to 11/20

Due to some unavoidable manufacturing delays, the release date of the retail DVD of Helvetica has been pushed back two weeks to November 20th. The DVD will not be available in stores worldwide until that date. If you’ve pre-ordered the DVD from our site (or the limited-edition box set) your copy will be shipped one week prior to the new date. Institutional orders are still shipping and are not affected. Our apologies on this, sorry for any inconvenience.

    And Jenn: there may be 50 or so extra limited boxes available… we’re not very good at counting. Once we get all the packages made up in the next two weeks, we’ll send out an email to the mailling list if there are extra copies to be had.

  4. Hi, I was wondering if the pre-ordered deluxe editions are being shipped out one week prior or shipped out to arrive one week prior to the November 20th release date. i have been anxiously awaiting this and just want to be prepared :)

  5. YanYan, the deluxe boxes are being shipped out one week before the November 20 release date. So, that means they are leaving the building today (Monday the 12th) and tomorrow. So look for yours later this week or ealry next, depending how far you are from New York City. Thanks!

  8. I just received mine. First class mail from the US. Overnight mail! I got the letter ‘o’ and 4 nice letterpress prints, two buttons, 1 signed still all packed in a nice box-design, different from the one displayed in the shop-section. I’m happy… :)

  10. i’ve been advised that any pre-order that were placed before last friday the 16th have been shipped, so please be patient! orders placed after friday are shipping on monday since plexifilm is closed for thanksgiving. cheers!
