I’m getting cramps
So I got back to New York, and the folks at Plexifilm chained me to a desk, put a pile of film stills in front of me, and stuck a sharpie in my hand. It’s pretty bizarre (and suprisingly time consuming) signing your name 1,000 times. Your signature starts to look weird. And I can’t help but feel that I’m damaging these beautiful photos by scrawling my scrawl on them. I mentioned this to Brian at Plexi and he said, “Shut up and keep signing.”

No one can copy my ugly signature, I’m afraid…

Are the stills unique? Looks like one frame per photo?

no, it’s the same frame, the one on the left is just a little blurred in this photo.

I enjoyed the screening and Q&A in Atlanta last night. Thanks for coming.
I’m a little disappointed to have missed a chance at one of the deluxe box sets (especially after all your hard work there), but I’m going to pre-order the DVD so I can get “I love Helvetica” and “I hate Helvetica” buttons of my own. Maybe I’ll tape one to either side of my monitor…

Get a stamp made using Helvetica or Comic Sans. Your choice.

I’m also disappointed at not being able to make it on time to get one of the deluxe box sets. Are they really really really sold out? I’ve already ordered the DVD, but you know… Planning to make them avaliable again some time?
